I had a chance to visit with Charles when he was here last week and certainly, that’d be a great addition to our team. I know there is the business side of it that comes into play, but there’s no question that any time you can add good football players at any position, I think that’s always…read more
He’s benching more, but he doesn’t look like this (laughing). It’s about what you look like, not what you do. He’s the big bench guy in the weight room, anyway. Everybody’s always watching him. I think he does more than the linebackers.”
Sacks are about opportunity, it's about working, it's about being in the right place a lot of times and it's about having great talent. I feel like I'm going to work, I feel like I have talent, and I feel like this year, for the first year in my career, I'm going to have an opportunity to be put …read more
We haven’t done a lot, but we’re installing some offense. He’s doing a great job. He’s a coach that when you first get around him, you know that he’s got it. So I was excited. I think he’s going to be really good for our football team.
Not at all. I stand behind it. You can go in the locker room and you can ask all of the guys in the locker room that I think are riding with me. I wasn’t being arrogant or cocky when I made the guarantee. It was something bigger than myself. I did it for the story about my cousin. I did it for …read more

I was fortunate enough my 2011 season to play with [Seattle QB] Russell Wilson, so we threw the ball a lot more than we did [this] past season, so I understand how important it is to protect the quarterback.
We were happy he got to us. We had some trade options to go up or down. We were very pleased he was there. He’s 5’10” and-a-half, 195 [pounds], he’s got great short quickness. Probably one of the fastest corners in the draft—he ran a sub 4.4. We felt good about his upside and what evide…read more
He’s a big back with a ton of production in college, who has great quickness and a great slashing-type style and is always heading north and south. So, we liked him a lot. We thought he could be a three-down guy for us, so we were thrilled he was available for us at the bottom of the second [ro…read more
I had a really good visit with the Broncos. I felt at home when I was out there, and I really look forward to the opportunity. When they called on me it was a blessing. I’m going to be a Bronco, and I can’t wait to give it everything I’ve got.
Absolutely. If a guy is going to play for us for 10 years, we want him to be able to play for us now. That’s always the goal.
Let's say that play never happened. There would still be things I'd want to change, I'd want to improve on. In this game, you have to thrive on putting good stuff on film. When you put bad stuff on film, you want to change it.
"We've offered Elvis a contract. We'd like to have Elvis back."
Jack (Del Rio) used the word ‘stout.’ He needs stout. He wants us to be stout. Stout. Stout in the inside. No movement. Penetrating tackles, dancing bears. Guys that can move. So, I think with my size and my athleticism and another big guy that can move his feet just as good as me—he can be…read more
Colquitt is already a restricted free agent. To make sure he stays restricted, the Broncos are expected to place a second-round tender on him March 12, which would pay him a $2.023 million salary for 2013.
The weather in Denver is more reliable than what it is in New York. Not to mention it's a great stadium. Their traffic flow is good. Their airport, you can get in and out of. And they've done a lot in developing downtown. It's a city I've always thought could put on a pretty darn good Super Bowl.
