After finishing in the Top 15 last season on the NFL Top 100, Von Miller finds himself in as the second best player in the league according to his peers.

Von Miller has shown the NFL how much of a force he can be on the defensive side of the football. In the past three seasons, we have seen the game changing plays he can make when the opportunity presents itself.

And it looks as if his peers in the league have taken notice more now than last season. The NFL players have voted Von Miller as the second best player in the league. The only player that was voted better than Miller was Tom Brady.

However, Von Miller was named the best defensive player on the list. He edged out Khalil Mack, who ended up as the number five player on the list. This comes one year after the peers picked Mack over Miller in 2016.

With that said, I completely agree with Von Miller being at this point in the list. When I saw where Chris Harris Jr. and Aqib Talib ended up on the list, I could think of so many players ahead of them that they were better than.

However, seeing Von Miller in the top five should make up for the majority of that. As much as we would like him to be the top player, number two is not too bad.

Von Miller has racked up sacks after sacks since he came into the league. In fact, it was noted that he recorded double digit sacks in five of the years he has been in the league. That is quite a phenomenal feat for any defensive player.

The Super Bowl 50 MVP still has his best years ahead of him. I am looking forward to seeing what he can do in 2017.
