Denver Broncos appear to make subtle uniform change for 2017
The Denver Broncos took player photos for ‘network day’ and appear to have made a subtle uniform change for the 2017 season…
The uniform you see in the picture above may officially be a thing of the past. The Denver Broncos took player photos for ‘network day’ on Tuesday, and appear to have revealed a slight uniform modification.
Take a look.

Did you catch it?
Looking through the rest of the photos, it’s clear that the Broncos made a slight modification to the collar on their uniform. The picture at the top of this post has a thicker collar with a bit of a zig-zag pattern inside of it.
The new collar is thinner, more simplistic in design, and really gives the uniform a much cleaner look overall.

It could be just the thinner collar as well, but the stripes on the side of the jersey appear thinner than the ones used last season as well.
It’s not the uniform change I would like to see permanently for the Broncos — I want them to use the Color Rush uniforms on a full-time basis — but it’s a nice modification for the 2017 season. There’s nothing I hate more than an NFL uniform that is too ‘busy’ or ‘loud’ (looking at you, Jaguars).
The Broncos’ new age uniform has evolved a bit over the years, but this latest modification by Nike is probably about as close to the last ones we saw from Reebok yet. The first uniform modification by Nike involved the torture of a polo-style collar for an entire season.
That was quickly squashed, and the Broncos are now finally back to something fairly ‘traditional’ as far as this uniform and overall look goes.
