The New York Jets have been clearing up the roster the past few days. With David Harris one of the latest players to be released, should Denver sign him?

Denver’s roster is shaping up to be a solid unit going into training camp. There could be a few more moves that the team could make going into the dog days of summer. David Harris could be a viable option for the team.

After being released by the New York Jets, David Harris is now looking for a new team. Harris ended his career with the Jets second all time in tackles for the franchise. There is no doubt that he will be able to find a new team.

The Broncos inside linebackers somewhat struggled last season. After Danny Trevathan departed to Chicago, the team had a difficult time finding an inside linebacker who could drop back in pass protection.

We all saw the struggles that Todd Davis went through in his first year as a starter. There is no doubt he can bounce back in year two. But could the team use help from a veteran? I believe so.

I believe he still has a lot in the tank at 33 years old. One thing about his game that you cannot deny is his tackling. He is a sure fire tackling machine. That was one area that the Denver Broncos could use some help in.

Will John Elway go after David Harris? It is tough to say. He does want his defense to be young, but dominant. I do not see the issue with bringing in a veteran to help out the young guys. Having him and Brandon Marshall on the field would really help out when it comes to the run defense.

It will be interesting to see where David Harris lands after his surprising release. But I think he would look great in orange and blue.
