The Denver Broncos will be adding on some new names for the broadcasting team starting with the addition of Tyler Polumbus among others.

Friday, the Denver Broncos announced their new radio broadcast team with a pair of changes.

Incumbent Dave Logan, who has been on since 1990, will commence his 21st year of play-by-play duties.

New members of the team include Tyler Polumbus and Rick Lewis.

Polumbus played for the Broncos from 2008-2010, as well as at Colorado. He also starred at Cherry Creek High School in Englewood, Colo. so he endears himself to Coloradans.

Lewis is a staple of Denver radio as he hosts a show on classic rock station 103.5-FM The Fox.

He has also been on-air with Logan for a Broncos game before. He served as a color analyst for the Broncos’ 17-10 win at Jacksonville last December 4.

Then-color analyst Ed McCaffrey, was with his son, Christian, for the Heisman Trophy presentation.

With Christian having been drafted by Carolina last April, Ed left his Broncos radio responsibilities.

Logan and Lewis also host a drivetime show on AM-850 KOA, the flagship station for the Broncos. This show has received high ratings in the Denver market and is known for its hilarity and edginess.

Meanwhile, Mike Rice will be host the post-game Broncos React show as well as the pregame and halftime shows.

At least for home games, Denver radio personality Andy Lindahl will remain in his current role as Broncos sideline reporter.

Things have changed for Broncos Radio but fans should still enjoy the analysis that is provided. Logan, as one of the more respected NFL radio play-by-play men, has definitely been joined by a stellar cast.

The new team will have its first broadcast August 10 in the preseason opener at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears.
