The Denver Broncos drafted Brendan Langley with their final third round draft pick. How does this impact the depth chart for the Broncos?

A corner back has been added to the No Fly Zone for the Denver Broncos. John Elway has added Lamar defensive back Brendan Langley with the 101st overall pick.

To me, this move feels a bit odd. The Denver Broncos already have Aqib Talib, Chris Harris Jr., and Bradley Roby on the roster. With Talib not getting any younger, it does make some sense. Plus, it appears as if Langley was not drafted just because of his abilities at defensive back.

John Elway liked what he could do in the return game as well. So, during the third round, the Broncos drafted a player on offense and defense that can excel on special teams.

Langley measures in at six foot. Weighs at 201 pounds. He comes from a school that is not heard from. Elway liked the upside that he brings.

But here is the bigger question. How does he impact the Denver Broncos depth chart? I think he could help on special teams in his first year.

As far as playing on defense? It may not be right away. With the three big cornerbacks on the roster, I just do not see him getting a lot of time.

Next: Broncos Draft Brendan Langley

Of course, that will change in the next couple of years. But if John Elway believes he has quite a bit of upside, then he could become next big member of the No Fly Zone.

With Brendan Langley drafted, that ends day two for the Denver Broncos. Time to get some rest. Day three should provide some interesting players.
