Denver Broncos: Aqib Talib, Derek Wolfe Return To Practice
By Tylor Walden
The Denver Broncos returned to practice after a few days off on Monday. The return was met with two familiar faces on the defense on the field.
It is Chiefs week Broncos Country. This is going to be a huge game.
Pending the result of tonight’s Monday Night Football game between the Raiders and Texans, both of these teams could be playing for first place in the AFC West.
The Denver Broncos will be returning from a well deserved bye. The injuries had begun to take its toll.
With that said, Monday’s practice saw two key players from the Broncos Super Bowl defense return. Corner back Aqib Talib and defensive end Derek Wolfe were both seen at practice today and practiced in full.

Talib has not played since suffering a back injury, which mysteriously happened sometime during or after the Denver Broncos’ Week 7 matchup against the Houston Texans.

Derek Wolfe missed the Week 10 matchup against the New Orleans Saints when he suffered a hairline fraction in his elbow during the Week 9 loss to the Oakland Raiders.

Aqib Talib is expected to play on Sunday.
This is great news for a defense that led the team to a Super Bowl win last season. Derek Wolfe has been the bright spot in the team’s run defense and Talib is one of the premier corner backs in the league.
In other injury news, Trevor Siemian did throw in practice and looked good. He was still feeling the effects of the AC joint injury he suffered in Week 4 against Tampa Bay.
Andy Janovich was able to shed the cast this week and should be good to go for the playoff stretch.
It appears as if the Denver Broncos are getting healthy at the right time. And it could not be at a better time. Here’s to hoping we can see them on the field on Sunday.
