The first injury report has been released for the Monday Night showdown against the Houston Texans. Who is on track to play for the Denver Broncos?

After two straight defeats, the Denver Broncos are looking to use this 11 day layoff to get right back on track to their winning days when the Houston Texans come to town on Monday Night.

With the extended time off, the Broncos used that time to get healthy and have some much needed R&R to get ready. After two games in five days, I do not blame them one bit.

It appears as if the second mini-bye of the season really helped the team injury wise. Only three players for the Broncos did not participate in practice. Wide Out Cody Latimer and Tackle Russell Okung are in the concussion protocol and did not practice.

Demarcus Ware is still dealing with a forearm injury and it has been reported that he will miss Monday’s game. This is a bit of a surprise. It was believed he would be ready for this game, but is not completely healed after suffering the injury in Week 2 against the Colts.

A key player that was on the injury report for the Broncos is starting safety T.J. Ward. He was limited today with a ankle injury. Hopefully he will be good to go on Monday.

The Houston Texans have quite a laundry list of injuries on their report. Some big names include Quintin Demps and Kevin Johnson in the secondary, and Jadeveon Clowney who was limited with a wrist injury.

For both teams, only three players each did not participate and everyone else was either limited or full. Take a look at the report here.

The injury report will be very interesting to watch in the next couple of days, especially with the players that were limited today. Keep it here as we keep you updated on all the injuries leading up to the Monday Night Football showdown.
