A victory Monday for the Broncos is always a good thing, but there remain questions even after a win.

Broncos beat the Colts winning win 34-20. Next up, they face the Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday in an early game at 11am.

Trevor Siemian threw another interception in the 34-20 win against the Colts, but the Broncos defense recorded two defensive touchdowns proving to be relentless, yet again. Siemian must protect the ball better from the pocket and not turn the ball over consistently. However, the remaining constant and the debate killer is the same: Trevor Siemian is cool, calm, poised and WON the game. Yet, the quarterback needs to take more deep shots in games. He took a chance to Demaryius Thomas drawing a pass interference penalty and in my opinion, not sure why Siemian did not take more opportunities down field.

In his career, Von Miller failed to sack Andrew Luck; however on Sunday afternoon, Miller proved to be the Defensive Player of the Year as he recorded three sacks and a forced fumble. Miller will be without his brother and Robin, DeMarcus Ware for the next few weeks due to a fractured elbow. Do not be worried; the Broncos pass rush should be just fine as they added Dekoda Watson to the 53-man roster this season.

The running game saw more improvement. CJ Anderson averaged three yards a carry, while the rookie Devontae Booker had a stellar outing finishing with nearly five yards a clip and 44 yards on the ground. Kapri Bibbs also saw some more time in the backfield as the Kubiak-led offense.

Struggles remained in the red zone for the Broncos offense. That cannot happen. The team was 28th in the scoring area last season and with targets of Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Cody Latimer and Virgil Green. Gary Kubiak and the coaching staff will need to expand the offense to a passing attack, rather than give way to Brandon McManus on a regular basis. A possible x-factor in the red zone, in my opinion is Jordan Taylor. The wide receiver from Rice has emerged the past two seasons and due to his incredible height, he presents matchup problems for a defense.

Offensive line will be tested against the Cincinnati Bengals defensive of Geno Atkins, but Matt Paradis held his own quite well the past couple weeks. This will be the first time in two years the Broncos will face Andy Dalton and another great test for the young quarterback Siemian squaring off against the Bengals. Game is early this Sunday at 11am.
