The Denver Broncos wrapped up their first preseason game against the Chicago Bears in a dominant performance by the defense to no one’s surprise. Today, the Broncos resumed Training Camp as day 17 is in the books. Still, questions remain and the answers will not come till at least after the third preseason game.

Aqib Talib is facing a possible suspension for the incident in Dallas; however, the Broncos secondary is five deep at the cornerback position with the emergence of Lorenzo Doss. Doss played six games in the 2015 regular season registering one special teams tackle, as a rookie. The cornerback from Tulane has intercepted Mark Sanchez all throughout camp. It was no exception today in camp.

Defensive line coach Bill Kollar was banging his hand on the table for the Broncos to draft Adam Gotsis from Georgia Tech surprising many fans and experts. Anytime, a well-regarded coach in the NFL show that much confidence in a player, the front office should better listen to that coach. Gotsis wear full leg brace today in camp, but make no mistake, the Aussie is expected to have an impact on the Orange Rush defense.

Head coach Gary Kubiak made his presence felt today in camp, expressing his disgust in the play from the offense. Particularly, ex-Memphis quarterback, Paxton Lynch was the focal point. Kubiak will choose the best candidate for the job, but handing out criticism is a standard as an NFL coach. Lynch took very few reps with the number one offense, and because of his play, Kubiak let him have it.
