For Denver Broncos fans that want Paxton Lynch in the starting quarterback spot as soon as possible, you may want to avert your eyes.

Lynch has an absolutely phenomenal deep ball, but of course we all knew this from his game tape at Memphis. The quarterbacks, by most accounts, all had decent days at practice on Sunday, but it was the best day so far for Lynch.
At this point, it seems like Mark Sanchez has a pretty firm hold on the starting job, at least until the Broncos see all of their guys in game action. We’ll get our first taste a week from Thursday in Chicago as the Broncos open up their pursuit of a second straight title at Soldier Field with their first preseason game against John Fox and the Bears.

Lynch should be a primary focus in that game, but the Broncos and their coaches are going to want to see what every quarterback brings to the table, obviously. Lynch is the type of player that the Broncos are simply lucky to have. I am not exactly sure why he fell in the draft, perhaps for a number of reasons, but the Broncos by all accounts got a prospect that can really sling the ball, has athleticism, and a great work ethic.
It’s only a matter of time before he’s the starting quarterback of this team, but seeing him make throws like the ones in that highlight reel are tantalizing.
It’s going to be exciting to watch him continue to develop.
