Reports indicate that Von Miller is likely to accept the Denver Broncos offer which has increased to a reported $70M in guaranteed money…
Denver Broncos star pass rusher and Super Bowl 50 MVP is going to need more than a 10 gallon hat with the truckload of money he’s going to be taking to the bank here soon.
Multiple reports indicate the Broncos and Miller are close to a long-term deal, after a stunning offer from the Broncos was put on the table.

These are all very good things. The Broncos knew that Miller was going to be the highest paid defensive player in NFL history, but I don’t know if they ‘estimated’ that it would be with this much money in guarantees. Miller’s guarantees exceed every non-QB contract in NFL history. Currently, the only player who would be making more in guarantees is Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck.
So, it’s safe to say the Broncos were trying to get Miller to come off of his $70M demands from the start of negotiations at some point in June. The contracts given out to Luck and Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox changed things.
With Miller likely to accept this offer, the Broncos’ defense will remain elite. Miller will be around for training camp with a smile on his face. The team will officially be ‘distraction’ free, and we can finally begin the road to a repeat title.
