The NFL Top 100 released more of their list from 20-11. Another Denver Broncos player has been added to the list as Von Miller has made the list at No. 15. Is this a good spot for him?

When it comes to dominating players on the Denver Broncos Super Bowl defense, Von Miller is the one name that comes to mind. Who else but the MVP of the biggest game in the NFL.

However, even that does not help his case. With the NFL Top 100 releasing the list from 20-11, Von Miller was placed at No. 15 on the list. Before I begin, I will show a tweet that Lindsay Jones put up in reaction to Von Miller’s placement on the list.

That might make sense, but now, here is my reaction to his position on the list. It is completely ridiculous. Had they waited to vote until after the season, he would have been so much higher. I cannot even put into words about how I feel about this.

Let us just get into what he accomplished in the 2015 season. Von Miller recorded 35 tackles and 11 sacks. Pretty solid numbers for a linebacker. But it was his performance in the playoffs that saw what he really could do.

In just the AFC Championship Game and the Super Bowl against the Patriots and Panthers respectfully, he recorded 5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and an interception. If that is not elite time performance, I do not know what is.

Minus his one season in 2013 when he was suspended and missed the playoffs due to an ACL injury, Von Miller has been in my opinion one of the best linebackers I have ever seen. And the fact that he is only 27 years old, he still has a lot left in the tank.

I mean, we are talking one of the best defensive players to play the game of football. I understand that they started the ranking sometime before playoffs, but perhaps this is the time that we need to wait until after the season before the players vote. It only makes sense. Because players are at their best when it comes to crunch time, when it comes to the playoffs.

Will we see another Denver Broncos player in the Top 100? Find out next week as the list moves on to the Top 10.
