The Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders have a storied rivalry on the field, and have now taken to Twitter, where they had some fun on Wednesday…

The Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos and their AFC West rival Oakland Raiders have a great rivalry on the football field, but the fun extends beyond just the field.

On Wednesday, the NFL put out this tweet that generated a bit of a cocky response from the Oakland Raiders…

The Raiders responded with this, as only the Raiders could do…

“It currently Ruled the AFC West.”

Oh. We’ll just skip over the grammatical error there. It’s fine. The Broncos responded in perhaps the most hilarious way they possibly could. The social media team in Denver is the best of the best.

This is absolutely perfect. The Broncos have the ultimate bragging rights in the entire NFL right now, especially over their division rivals. They have won five straight division titles and are the reigning Super Bowl champions. You have to love how that passion and fire extends to the entire franchise, not just the players on the field.

The Broncos have one of the best social media teams around, and this just further proves that. The Raiders thought they could pull a fast one on the Super Bowl champions, but as usual, the Broncos’ defense came through.

Chalk up another win for Denver and the Broncos.
