The Denver Broncos have selected Paxton Lynch with the 26th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. I take a look at some of his highlights and his combine tapes and see what the Broncos have in their new quarterback.

Alright Broncos Country, we got the quarterback of the future. The Denver Broncos traded with the Seattle Seahawks in order to move up to the 26th overall pick in order to draft Paxton Lynch.

To give a brief summary on Paxton Lynch, I think it is an excellent pick. I have been very big on the Broncos drafting him for a while. His mobility makes him a great prospect for the Broncos in Gary Kubiak’s offensive system.

Once he learns his passing on the run, he can become a real dual threat quarterback. And he can take snaps from under center, which is a huge bonus.

So, first let us take a look at some of his combine tape, which you can see below.

I liked his footwork in the combine tapes. Very well moving. His release is pretty good as well.

Now we take a look at some of his highlights from his time in college.

Let us go more in depth with the quarterback that the Broncos drafted as we take a look at his game film from his game against Ole Miss.

Here is another game film on Paxton Lynch during his 2015 game against the Houston Cougars.

It is an exciting time in Broncos Country. The fact that the Broncos have found a quarterback of the future makes this a great pick and something to look forward to for years to come. The Broncos have not had a quarterback for a long period of time since John Elway retired. Perhaps Paxton Lynch is the answer for the Denver Broncos.
