The Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings will be kicking off soon. This figures to be one of the most underrated games during Week 4 of the 2015 season.
Some of the most difficult decisions are made leading up to game day. And Gary Kubiak’s job is to choose seven players that will not dress for the game. Some of the inactives are for injury reasons while some can be a healthy scratch.
Let’s take a look at the inactive list for the Denver Broncos as they take on the Minnesota Vikings.
QB Trevor Siemian
DB Omar Bolden
LB Lerentee McCray
OL Shelley Smith
OL Ty Sambrailo
TE Mitchell Henry
DE Kenny Anunike
Ty Sambrailo is the least surprising since Gary Kubiak announced on Friday that he was going to be out. Which means we will see newly signed offensive lineman Tyler Polumbus on the field today.
Once again, Trevor Siemian is a healthy scratch with Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler suiting up at the quarterback position. However, the quarterback position is the least of the Broncos’ worries.
The biggest surprise to me is Kenny Anunike appearing on this list. This was the game that we figured he would be making his NFL debut. However, it looks like we will have to wait at least one more week to see him in action.
The Broncos are going to carry three backup linemen. Max Garcia, Tyler Polumbus, and James Ferentz will spell the starting offensive linemen if needed. Speaking of linemen, Michael Schofield will be making his NFL debut this afternoon. He was a healthy scratch during the 2014 season. Interested to see how he does in his first game.
So, the lineups have been submitted and the teams are currently warming up for the game. I look for this game to be a battle until the very end. Go Broncos!
