In a game that ended up becoming a huge defensive game, the Denver Broncos came away with a win. Trailing 10-7, Trevor Siemian led the team and threw a touchdown strike towards Corbin Louks with a little over two minutes to go in the game to lead the Broncos to a 14-10 win over the Texans.

Peyton Manning saw game action for the first time since the divisional playoff loss to the Indianapolis Colts, and did  a solid job as he went 8 of 14 for 52 yards. While he did not get to see him throw a touchdown pass, Peyton Manning does have some things to learn on the new offense.

Brock Osweiler stepped into the game and threw a touchdown strike to Andre Caldwell that broke the scoreless game halfway through the second quarter. A beauty of a 57 yard touchdown, put the team ahead 7-0 going to the half.

Brock Osweiler would go on to play a bit more into the second half. However he threw an interception, which was not his fault as he was rushed and not protected, and the interception turned into a pick six and gave the Texans a 10-7 lead.

In the fourth quarter, Trevor Siemian took over and had quite a remarkable last drive. Siemian lead the team down the field for a 92 yard drive that ended with a 26 yard touchdown strike to Corbin Louks.

The Denver Broncos defense would respond and keep the Texans from reaching the end zone in their two minute drive to seal the game away as the Broncos defense prevented the Houston Texans from pulling off a two minute drive of their own.

The Broncos will head home next Saturday to take on the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams are set to participate in joint practices this week leading up to the game.

Overall, it was a great comeback from behind win for the Broncos. I seriously think that they have a future star in Trevor Siemian. He could have a future with the Broncos franchise in the coming years.

Shaquil Barrett also had a good game as he helped stall the Houston Texans from their drive with his strip sack. The play by Shaquil Barrett pretty much sealed the game away for the Broncos.

It will be interesting to see which players step up next week. Next week will be huge for some players. But for this game, it is nice to see that the team can come together and pull together a significant comeback and win a game.
