Emmanuel Sanders is entering his second year as the Broncos wide receiver. He had quite a year, which was marked by a trip to the Pro Bowl. He was well liked by the Broncos fans as the season went along. Now that he has a year with the Denver Broncos under his belt, he looks forward to making a bigger impact.

Yesterday, Emmanuel Sanders took some time to talk to the media on Thursday. Some of the topics that the media and Emmanuel Sanders went over varied from the new offense to Demaryius Thomas and the potential of teammate Cody Latimer.

When asked about his preparation for his second year in Denver, Emmanuel Sanders did not hold back his excitement about being in Denver this year. “I’m just excited, obviously to get back. It’s a blessing to make it to my sixth year in the league. The team is getting better and I have guys that I can encourage. [Latimer and Burse] Hopefully they can learn from me and I can teach them everything I know.”

The media then went to ask how things are for Emmanuel Sanders now then they were one year ago and how comfortable he is with the Denver Broncos organization. He noted gaining Peyton Manning’s respect as part of the difference between this year and last year.

“I think from an off-the-field standpoint of just hanging out here and starting to gain that comradely. I am definitely much closer to my teammates off the field. I worked my butt off to gain my trust with Peyton and almost tore my quad and had to sit out for a week and a half of training camp last year. I am blessed and fortuante to work with a future Hall of Fame quarterback and still coming to earn his trust.”

Emmanuel Sanders, knowing that Peyton Manning will not be around forever, decided to take it upon himself to help out Brock Osweiler. The Broncos are focusing on the future without Peyton Manning and Emmanuel Sanders wants to make sure that he is ready just in case Manning gets hurt or to get that chemistry with Osweiler sooner rather than later.

“The one thing coming into camp, it is important for me to mix it up and do individual drills not only with Peyton but with Brock as well. We have a long journey ahead of us and things happen, injuries occur. Brock might have to go into the game if Manning is not well or gets hurt. Brock definitely works his butt off and I think he will be prepared when the time arrives.”

Emmanuel Sanders appears to be ready for the season and is confident in himself and the team. Football season is just a little over one month away. Broncos country is very excited for the 2015 season. Hoping that it ends on a better note than last season.
