After dispatching both the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs, the currently second-seeded Denver Broncos will take on another playoff hopeful this Sunday.
The Buffalo Bills boast one of the very best defenses in the NFL. Peyton Manning and Co. have faced plenty of those this season and will look to continue their recent success on the ground with tough runner C.J. Anderson.
However, Buffalo’s offense presents an intriguing matchup for the Broncos’ “Orange Crush” unit.
About a week ago against the Chiefs, the Denver defense enjoyed their finest performance of the season. They absolutely dominated Kansas City’s offense, as the prime time matchup was seemingly over before it ever began.
Denver’s defense out-toughed and physically beat up on their fiercest divisional rival in their own building.
The Bills’ are similar offensively as they don’t ask journeyman quarterback Kyle Orton to do too much but to manage the game and to take care of the ball.
Their defense keeps Buffalo in games, while their offense does just enough to win it for them.
This Sunday, the Broncos’ defense will attempt to rough up Orton and the rest of his 7-5 bunch, further establishing their identity of a physically imposing, playmaking unit.
The Bills have some playmakers of their own on offense, so let’s take a look at who to watch out for.
