There is nothing like a rivalry game in the NFL.

Over the last few seasons, the Denver Broncos’ best rival has been the San Diego Chargers. Phillip Rivers, former receiver Eddie Royal and offensive coordinator Mike McCoy add to an already historic rivalry.

Thursday’s game marks the 109th time these two teams knock helmets. Last season they did so three times, with Denver winning two of them.

Both times look like they’re primed for great seasons once again, and whoever walks out of Mile High with the win will have a distinct advantage in the AFC West; especially if that’s the Broncos (5-1).

But for some reason, Rivers loves to play in Denver as seen last season on Thursday Night when his Chargers (5-2) shocked the Broncos with the win.

What does this chapter have in store? Hopefully not near the drama.

Here are five Broncos to keep an eye on Thursday Night at Mile High.
