It was a dominant performance for the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers. If you’re like me, you’re just drinking this one in like a nice cup of espresso on a cool fall morning. It always goes down smooth, and for a little visual to make you even more pleased this morning, take a look at this. This happened…

45. 17. 42. Final. 42

My official prediction for the game on Sunday was a 34-20 Broncos win, but what we all saw on Sunday was far greater than even the over-zealous optimist could have predicted. If you could have asked the Broncos what they envisioned when they assembled the team from March to August, they would have drawn up a picture pretty similar to what you saw on Sunday night.

It was a complete game from start to finish. There was no letting up, they put the pedal to the metal, and they were efficient. Not only that, but they stayed healthy. Sunday night could not have gone any better for the Broncos, especially heading into a Thursday night matchup against the San Diego Chargers, who are coming off of a tough loss on their home field against Kansas City.

The Chargers are one of three teams to come into Denver and beat Peyton Manning in his Denver Broncos tenure.

There’s so much to talk about from last night’s game, but the spotlight was on number 18.
