Running Back

Montee Ball: A-

Ronnie Hillman: B+

C.J. Anderson: B+

Juwan Thompson: B+

Kapri Bibbs: B

Overall: B+

Just 19 days after an emergency appendectomy, Montee Ball saw some in-game football action for the first time this year. He looked amazing. His hands look to be better than last year and his running has improved as well. Ronnie Hillman has held onto the football for three straight games, which is great. He has talent and potential, which he gets to show as long as he holds onto the ball. Anderson is looking like a great pickup from a college free agent last year. He has a well-rounded game as a runner, receiver and blocker. Juwan Thompson is the best blocking RB on the roster. He is also capable of doing everything that is needed, which he has showcased in-game. It is doubtful the Broncos carry five RB’s unless Bibbs or Thompson can display returning ability. Bibbs has a lot of potential and has flashed multiple times this preseason. If he doesn’t make it, let’s hope he clears waivers.
