The Broncos have made their first round of cuts, the only really surprising of which was offensive tackle Winston Justice, who had apparently dropped from a contender to start at right tackle to not even worthy of a spot on the team.

As of those cuts, the Broncos are at 77 players on the roster and figure to get down to 75 by placing Jordan Norwood on the injured reserve list and possibly seeing where some other players are at health-wise before making the next round of cuts.

The team that will trot out for the Broncos’ final preseason game will be a lot of guys competing for jobs, but it’ll also be a pretty decent look at what guys we’ll see on the team for this season. The Broncos have only 53 active roster spots, but they will have 10 practice squad spots so it’s possible that only 12 of the players that get cut at final cutdowns won’t be Broncos when all is said and done.

With that being said, let’s take a look at another roster projection to see what this team could look like on opening day against the Indianapolis Colts.
