It’s game week for the Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers, and the Broncos will be getting their second pretty tough test in preseason action in as many weeks. Preseason games become tough when you play teams with great depth, and the 49ers are considered arguably the most talented roster from top to bottom in the NFL.

Of course, Broncos Country laughs at that notion, but credit is given where it’s due. The Niners are very good, and they’re playing in a glorious stadium, one that the Broncos would certainly love to come away from with a victory.

The microscope is going to be heavy for some Broncos players this week, though it’s certainly not a make-or-break situation for guys just yet. Here are five players I’m going to be watching very closely as the Broncos get set for their second preseason game of the 2014 season.
