Cody Latimer

Wide Receiver, Indiana

The legend of Cody Latimer started at OTAs, and continued through the start of training camp. Latimer’s combination of size, speed, and hands make him a rare rookie that looks like he could make a significant impact in his first year, but he got a slice of humble pie in the Broncos’ first pre-season game. He didn’t have a catch, and on a deep ball from Brock Osweiler, he didn’t finish his route and ultimately couldn’t come up with what would have been a crazy catch. Still, I think Latimer is the Broncos’ best bet to make a significant impact as a rookie. He is so big, so fast, and so potentially dominant that I feel like the Broncos won’t be able to keep him off the field. I’d be very excited to see him on the field with Peyton Manning.
