Pre-Season, Game 1: Five Broncos to Watch vs. Seattle

T.J. Ward: After the crushing Super Bowl loss to Seattle in February, both the Seahawks and “pundits” started to advance that notion that the Broncos are soft. It was even something John Elway addressed in the locker room immediately after getting crushed by Seattle in a 2013 preseason game. Enter T.J. Ward. He was signed specifically to address the physicality, or lack thereof, on the defensive side of the ball. Ward will not see much action tomorrow night to be able to announce his presence with authority, but if given the chance, I believe that Ward will send a message and put the league on notice that this ain’t your 2013 Broncos.
