The Denver Broncos training camp is about to start at the end of this month, players have to report to Dove Valley on the 23rd to be exact. John Elway, John Fox, Jack Del Rio and Adam Gase have quite the job to do to figure out what 53 players will make the regular season roster. It is a long way until then, so anything can happen. Hopefully players don’t make the roster or make the roster due to injuries. After last year it will be great to see the team stay healthy, but of course injuries are almost a given in the game of football.

Some players are obviously going to make the roster, either due to, history in the league, prowess at their position, or the contract they were given in the offseason. But once you get past those players, that’s where the fight begins. Some players have to fight to keep their spot and keep those players who are fighting to take their spot, off. Of course there is another fight going on for some players as well. Certain players qualify to be placed on the practice squad. Those players are fighting with each other for that practice squad spot.

So let us begin…

Excellent article and great breakdown of arguably the one unit on offense that will bear the greatest onus in catapulting us on to the Lombardi trophy. Just a slight suggestion, next time perhaps next to the names, number, and position, you can add the height and weight of each player…..just to give us an insight as to how massive our O line can potentially be. In any event, excellent article!

You ARE JOKING that Franklin was a good RT: watch the super bowl much

I pretty much think this is a settled issue with the BRONCOS carrying 9 O-Lineman as follows

LT Ryan Clady- starter pro bowl all pro
LG Orlando Franklin- starter will play well: UNLIKE HOW HE PLAYED AT RT now that he is inside
C Manny Ramirez- starter for now: WEAK LINK IN LINE he should be moved to LG IF Franklin FAILS
RG Louis Vasquez- starter pro bowl all pro
RT Chris Clark- will platoon with Justice
    Subs/ Back-Ups
    1. Winston Justice
    2. Vinston Painter
    3. Will Montgomery
    4. Michael Schofield

I don’t think anyone inside or out believes that this list will be altered absent a serious incident or some FA falling from the skies at Center or LG…there is an interesting thing to note and that is the Waiver Wire Order since the BRONCOS are presently situated in the second 2nd slot…so maybe we do get lucky…barring that I totally think the above is pretty much set.
