80. player. 45. After being drafted in the 2011 NFL draft, Julius Thomas was fighting injuries off and on his first two years before breaking out in his third year. His first two years combined he had one catch for five yards, then caught 61 balls for 788 yards and 12 touchdowns. Quite the breakout at a very handy time for himself and the Broncos. He happened to show enough in the one year for the Broncos to be comfortable with trying to get an extension done before training camp starts. Entering his fourth year, expectations are at an all-time high. While he is one of the better pass catching tight ends in the NFL, he does have work to do with his blocking. He has moments of brilliance but it’s outnumbered by bad mistakes. Despite his blocking issues he will make the team. He is a dynamic weapon for Peyton Manning and a versatile option for the offense. Thomas is trusted by Manning to consistently make the hard catches, even if it’s for a short gain.. Tight End. Denver Broncos. Julius Thomas
