According to CBS4’s Vic Lombardi, the Denver Broncos have made a contract offer to star wide receiver Demaryius Thomas.
Sources tell me the Broncos have made an initial contract offer to Demaryius Thomas. It’s a 5-yr deal.

This is the first step to getting a deal done before training camp, which the Denver Post had reported that John Elway said he wanted to accomplish. The Broncos are also working on a long-term deal for tight end Julius Thomas.
Demaryius Thomas joins Larry Fitzgerald as the only two players to record multiple 90 catch, 1,400 yard seasons before the age of 26.
Re-signing Thomas is a no-brainer for the Broncos, and this is the first step to getting a deal done for the long-term.
