Despite reports on Tuesday that Demaryius Thomas was not at Peyton Manning’s famous Duke workout sessions because of injury, Thomas IS working out at Duke and is NOT injured.

You can see Thomas in this photo posted on Instagram by fellow Broncos receiver Andre Caldwell, as well as Peyton’s brother Eli and a couple of his Giants teammates.

Since February, we’ve all been under the impression that Thomas had separated his shoulder–and played through it–in the Super Bowl. That apparently is not the case, per Mike Klis of the Denver Post.

“Team sources confirmed Wednesday what Thomas told me on two different occasions after the Super Bowl: He did not suffer a separated shoulder.”

Despite his injury or lack thereof, Thomas is working out with the rest of the Broncos’ star-studded aerial attack, and getting in those extra reps that help make he and Peyton Manning one of the best QB-WR duos in the NFL. It’s also interesting seeing him wear a Duke t-shirt when he is a former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket. Perhaps the ACC foes are not as big of rivals as we’re led to believe, or the players really just don’t care after a certain amount of time away from college.
