The Broncos got one Pro Bowl pass rusher in free agency thanks to the Dallas Cowboys releasing team legend DeMarcus Ware, and they are likely going to get another one back off of injured reserve.

After missing significant time in 2013 due to suspension and a torn ACL, star pass rusher Von Miller is on the mend, and apparently things are going really well.

Miller’s return is going to be huge for the Broncos, who not only had to suffer through the horrible “Fax-Gate” loss of Elvis Dumervil last offseason, but then the news that Miller is on the NFL’s last nerve with failed drug tests.

This is very positive news for Denver’s defense which will be getting a huge boost–presumably–from the return of all their injured players. It’s also worth pointing out–as Vic Lombardi did here–that Miller’s weight is down. He had reportedly gained significant weight during his suspension last year, increasing his muscle mass, but it seemed to slow Miller down just a hair and he wasn’t the same player.

Hopefully he’s back to the 2011 and 2012 Miller that took the NFL by storm.
