Peyton Manning Describes “Omaha” Play Call

Peyton Manning is just as good a comedian as he is a quarterback. Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but don’t be surprised if Saturday Night Live comes calling after his playing career is over.

When asked if “Omaha” was his favorite city in Nebraska, Manning took the snap and delivered point on, comedically at least.

“I’ve had a lot of people ask what Omaha means,” Manning said sarcastically. Well, Omaha, it’s a run play. But it could be a pass play, or a play-action pass, depending on a couple of things: the wind, which way we’re going, the quarter, and the jerseys that we’re wearing. It really varies, really, from play-to-play. So there’s your answer to that.”

There’s no way Manning is going to give away anything heading into a conference championship game, especially going up against the New England Patriots.

But thanks for playing, Peyton.
