Broncos’ Knowshon Moreno Cries Rivers During National Anthem

Knowshon Moreno quite literally cried a river at the conclusion of the National Anthem during the Denver Broncos-Kansas City Chiefs game.

The running back tore his ACL against the Chiefs two years ago, so perhaps he was reflecting on how far he has come since then. It’s all speculation until he’s interviewed after the game where we can be sure one of the first questions will be, “Why such emotion before the game?” My guess is there was something more he was playing for today.

*Update: Moreno said after the game that his tears were the culmination of emotions about the game and being grateful to play in it.
