After a scare against the New England Patriots in which he ran for over 200 yards, Knowshon Moreno is listed as probable for the Broncos’ matchup this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, per beat reporter Mike Klis of the Denver Post.

Moreno was limited in practice on Wednesday, and made strides on Thursday, and apparently has done enough Friday to prove to coaches that he will be good to go on Sunday.

Obviously having Montee Ball, C.J. Anderson, and Ronnie Hillman gives the Broncos some good young depth, but none of those guys can be counted on to not fumble the football.

Despite what had become common early in his career, Knowshon has been incredibly reliable and productive for the Broncos this season, leading the team in total yards from scrimmage and scoring 10 touchdowns.

With Moreno on the mend, expect the Broncos to continue to use Montee Ball plenty in the offensive game plan but certainly it’s good news to have Moreno available.

In other important injury news, Champ Bailey is also listed as probable and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Julius Thomas are both considered questionable. DRC and Thomas had made progress this week but were limited on Friday so they’ll likely be game-time decisions.
