The Denver Broncos may have won a big one when they beat the Kansas City Chiefs 27-17, but they lost a key piece in the process.
Starting safety Rahim Moore left the game in the second quarter with a lower leg injury. It’s being reported that he will miss several weeks, according to an NFL source.
In 10 games this season, Moore had 44 tackles and two interceptions. Veteran Mike Adams is expected to take his place.
Moore missing a few weeks won’t hurt this Broncos defense. If they can play most of the season without Von Miller and Champ Bailey, and get the job done, then Moore’s absence won’t come back to bite them.
