Peyton Manning Not Practicing For Broncos Wednesday; Bailey, Ihenacho Return

This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but it’s not exactly the greatest news of the week for the Denver Broncos either. Peyton Manning is not practicing Wednesday, as was first reported by Lindsay Jones:

Manning was injured in the final minutes of the Broncos’ 28-20 victory over the San Diego Chargers, and he had an MRI on Monday to confirm his pain. Manning was very frustrated by the injury, as you’d expect, but reports early this week indicated there’s no way he wasn’t going to play against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Let’s hope that still holds true.

In other news, the Broncos’ secondary will hopefully be getting a huge boost from a couple of guys who missed the San Diego game. Champ Bailey and Duke Ihenacho are both at practice for the Broncos Wednesday, and that’s a good sign that they’ll play Sunday.
