Broncos-Chiefs in Week 13 Flexed to 3:25 CST

The first Broncos-Chiefs matchup of the season was so good it was flexed to Sunday Night Football in Denver. The second matchup–just two weeks later–was apparently deemed almost just as good.

It would be ridiculous for the NFL to have three straight Broncos games on Sunday Night Football, and I doubt CBS would let that happen, so the network that planned on airing the two teams’ week 13 matchup at Arrowhead Stadium will now have the game being aired at 3:25 CST instead of 12:00 CST.

This is good news for the Broncos, who don’t always play great in games beginning at noon.

I don’t know if that’s statistically backed up, but I know traveling east and playing an early game has had negative results in the past for Denver, especially games being played in Buffalo, Florida, etc.

This is a good move by the league to get the game in a more prominent time slot. I am going to be traveling to the game so I’m also very excited about this news.
