The Broncos had a dominant second half against the New York Giants on the road, but it didn’t come without a pretty big cost. Offensive tackle and captain Ryan Clady left the field with a left foot injury, and was seen after the game in a walking boot.

You can see Clady, the big dude with the glasses walking onto the plane wearing a boot. Of course we’re only 99.9 percent sure it’s Clady because you can’t see his face and he’s not wearing a big #78, but you can be sure that’s who it is. Initial reports indicated after the game that Clady would be fine, so hopefully the boot is just precautionary.

The Broncos have not offered any specifics as to the players that were injured in this game, but it was reported earlier tonight that Duke Ihenacho–one of the team’s young breakout players at safety–was walking around the locker room after being carted off the field with an ankle injury.

There has been no update given on Robert Ayers, and I didn’t see the severity of his injury during the game, so I won’t speculate there.

The Broncos have eight days to heal up and get ready for their first AFC West matchup against the Oakland Raiders, and it would be nice to see what this team can do with all of these guys back out on the field along with cornerback Champ Bailey. Hopefully the longer week is kind to the Broncos.
