After the team claimed LB Adrian Robinson off of waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles, the Denver Broncos made room on the 53 man roster by cutting fifth RB Jacob Hester.
There were some in the Broncos analyst community that had a problem with Hester making the roster anyway, but this hurts big time for a guy who thought a day ago he made an NFL roster.
Hester is entering his sixth year in the league, and will now look to latch on with a team that he can contribute as a receiver and special teams player.
Hester spent the majority of his career so far with the San Diego Chargers, and was picked up by Denver late last season.
The veteran out of LSU finishes his Broncos career with 81 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
