Manning, Miller lead Broncos in Madden 25 Ratings

This year’s installment of Madden, EA Sports’ very popular NFL video game, hit stores on Tuesday, August 27th. Many people look forward to the release each year. Earlier this week the ratings of the players were leaked prior to the release date. How did the Broncos fare this year with the EA Sports ratings team?

Peyton Manning and Von Miller headline the roster and are both rated at 97 overall. Both are in the top-5 at their respective positions in the whole NFL. You can view the top rated offensive players overall here and the top rated defensive players overall here. Ryan Clady also stands out with a rating of 94. The Broncos have 6 players total that are rated at 90 overall or better. Joining Manning, Miller, and Clady with a rating higher than 90, are Champ Bailey (93), Wes Welker (93), and Demaryius Thomas (90).

Welker (93) leads the newcomers that came to Denver in Free Agency. Louis Vasquez comes in with an impressive 89 overall and Terrence Knighton is rated at 80 overall. Newcomers Shaun Phillips, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and Quentin Jammer all received a rating of 79. Rookie first round pick Sylvester Williams received a rating of 76, second round draft pick Montee Ball received a rating of 75, and the Broncos third round pick Kayvon Webster received a rating of 69.
The battle to be the starting running back has been one of the Broncos biggest storylines throughout training camp and the highest rated back in Madden is not who most of you would think. Jacob Hester is the top rated back at 79 overall, but he will be listed as a fullback. Knowshon Moreno leads the halfbacks in the ratings at 76, with Ball rated at 75 and Ronnie Hillman receiving a rating of 72.

It looks like one of the Broncos major strengths will be in the passing game. Manning (97), Welker (93), Thomas (90), and Decker (87) are among the highest rated players on the Broncos roster. Another strength for the Broncos is their offensive line. The Broncos have five offensive linemen that are rated higher than 80 overall. Sporting a rating above 80 overall on the offensive line are: Clady (94), Vasquez (89), Orlando Franklin (86), Zane Beadles (81), and Chris Kuper (81).

Other notable Broncos rankings are: Matt Prater (84), Chris Harris (82), Rahim Moore (82), Britton Colquitt (81), and Wesley Woodyard (80).
