At last, all of the Denver Broncos‘ 2013 draft picks are under contract. The Broncos have just announce that they have come to terms with its first round pick, number 28 overall, Sylvester Williams. Williams is a 6’2″ 313 pound DT who is expected to step in and compete for significant playing time as a rookie. Broncos Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio had this to say during rookie minicamp in May:
“Sylvester is a big guy – has some quickness, very serious and very determined in his approach, That is a pretty good way to begin – come in here humble, but definitely ready to work and kind of man-up and do his job. That part has been very impressive.”
So with the start of camp upon us, this is one less thing the Broncos have to be concerned with. Now they can focus on X’s and O’s and laying the ground work for a Super Bowl run…we hope!
