The Charles Woodson wave is coming in hot right now as teams look to improve their secondary now that the draft is over by adding the veteran.
Woodson has been offered a contract by the Oakland Raiders, and he left Denver Wednesday without signing anything. Now Josina Anderson is reporting that the New York Giants are interested in Woodson.

Keep in mind that just because Woodson left Denver without a contract doesn’t mean that the team still isn’t interested in him. This could just mean that there have been hiccups on the negotiation side of things.
The Broncos have about $7 million in cap space to work with.
Adding Woodson would bring a Brian Dawkins-like presence back to the secondary, which features a talented but young Rahim Moore. Woodson has 55 career interceptions to his name, and he likely views Denver as his best chance to win a Super Bowl before retirement. That could ultimately drive his asking price down.
