The Denver Broncos agreed to terms with college free agent linebacker Damien Holmes and defensive end Lanston Tanyi after the team’s rookie minicamp came to a conclusion.

At 6-2, 250 pounds, Holmes had 100 tackles in 30 starts (played 53 games) for UCLA. He also added eight sacks and two fumble recoveries.

Tanyi played in 12 games for Colorado State and was named the team’s most valuable player in 2012 after transferring from Appalachian State.

The Broncos waived linebacker Doug Rippy on Sunday.
