Denver Broncos Wrap Up Rookie Minicamp

The Denver Broncos wrapped up their three day rookie minicamp Sunday morning.

“We’ll reconvene tomorrow with the veterans—I think all but three guys are eligible to stay,” John Fox said after Sunday’s session…I really just complimented them on their effort. They all did well mentally and physically. Hopefully they can keep that going tomorrow.”

Running back Montee Ball will have to leave for the week to wait for his class at Wisconsin to graduate.

“I’ll be back next Sunday,” Ball said. “But this time off, I’ll make sure that every day, I’m studying the playbook, conditioning and hitting the weights, but I’ll make sure I’m on top of everything.”

Fox’s message to the team after this weekend was brief, but important.

“He basically told us, ‘Good job; good three days.’ He really loved how we worked. But he always tells us, ‘It’s Mother’s Day; make sure you do what you can for your mother. Also, just make sure you stay on top of your body, and get your treatment,’ and then he told the players the schedule for tomorrow.”
