Denver Broncos to Host 2013 NFL Draft Party at Two Locations


What better way to usher in the NFL Draft than by celebrating with some Denver Broncos players and fellow fans?

The team will host official draft parties for fans beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at The Tavern Downtown and the The Tavern Tech Center in conjunction with the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

The parties are free and open to the public. They will feature cheerleaders as well as the following current and former players:

Downtown:

  • Terrance Knighton
  • Louis Vasquez
  • Kevin Vickerson
  • Mark Johnson
  • Steve Watson
Tech Center: 
  • Joel Dreessen
  • Jacob Tamme
  • Ebenezer Ekuban
  • Billy Thompson

Food and drink specials will be available during the parties and attendees will have a chance to win prizes, including a meet and greet with the Broncos’ first-round draft pick on Friday. Broncos Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway will address fans shortly after Denver’s first selection of the draft via videoconference (estimated time of the Denver’s No. 28 pick is shortly after 9 p.m.).
