The 2013 NFL pre-season schedule is out. So if you are interested in seeing Brock Osweiler play a quantity of minutes, all of which are against the NFC West, then mark your calendars for the following games (some dates are TBD):

@San Francisco – August 8-11

@Seattle – August 15-19

St Louis Rams  – August 24th @ 6:00 PM MST. This is a nationally televised on CBS.

Arizona Cardinals – August 29th or 30th

I am sure like me, you will be wringing your hands in anticipation of football in the 2013 season by this time…but we’ll settle for these games. Snark aside, I do believe that with the draft ahead of us and most of free agency behind us there will still be plenty to hold our interest in these otherwise meaningless games. How will Wes Welker look in Predominantly Orange, catching passes from Peyton Manning? How is the offensive line going to shake out with the addition of Louis Vasquez? How simpatico will Champ Bailey and Dominque Rodgers-Cromarte be in the secondary? Will Nate Irving and Stevie Johnson prove John Elway right at linebacker. However, what will garner my interest the most is to see how our new crop of draftees will look at the NFL level. Will the addition of our new free agents and rookies give us cause for optimism in relation to taking that championship step in 2013? Stay tuned boys and girls as the month of August may provide us some answers.
