Von Miller has performed well all season, but his play in the month of November really stood out. His 8 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 10 tackles for a loss were enough for him to win AFC defensive player of the month honors.

Miller has 14 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 24 tackles for a loss on the year. He is the second Broncos player this season to win player of the month honors. Peyton Manning was the AFC’s offensive player of the month in October.

Miller’s competition for NFL defensive player of the year, Aldon Smith, was named the NFC’s defensive player of the month. Smith had 9 sacks in three games.
