Denver Broncos Week 6 Power Rankings

Let’s take a look at some power rankings. The Denver Broncos dropped across the board with their 31-21 loss to the New England Patriots. Here’s a quick run down.

ESPN:

No. 17 (down 4 spots) – “The Broncos’ defense has to be able to get off the field on third down to allow Peyton Manning to do what he does”. - ESPN

CBS Sports:

No. 17 (down 1 spot) – “Their brutal early schedule has them in a 2-3 hole to start. Can they climb out of it?” – CBS Sports

Yahoo Sports:

No. 11 (down 3 spots) – “It didn’t feel much like a Brady/Manning matchup to the rest of us, but I couldn’t help but wonder if it felt like old times for Peyton Manning as he played lights out, but lapses in concentration by teammates Demaryius Thomas and Willis McGahee submarined him. I’m not saying the Broncos would’ve won without those mistakes, but it would’ve been a much more interesting game.” – Yahoo Sports

Fox Sports:

No. 17 (down 4 spots) – “There isn’t anything wrong with health of QB Peyton Manning. His arm is fine. It wasn’t his lack of arm strength that caused Demaryius Thomas to fumble the ball and it wasn’t his arm strength that forced Willis McGahee to drop a pass in the flat on fourth down.” – Fox Sports

on the article stating that tebow recieved the credit for the wins instead of the team? where was the team when they were losing with orton? you media people just cant stand that a man came into the game and put “the team” on his shoulders and proved the media wrong.I have seen every super bowl since bart starr in 1965 and I would rather watch tebow lose-than manning win. The spirit of david vs goliath might be an old story, but the media hasnt been able to take that one from us either. Stop looking for ways to reduce what tebow did for the broncos, and enjoy that they have Manning,as predictable as it is
