The off season just got longer for starting linebacker D.J. Williams. After being suspended for six games for violating the NFL’s banned substance policy, the NFL levied another three game suspension on Williams for driving while ability impaired (DWAI) in August. This was his second drunk driving charge since 2004.

Williams is not allowed to step inside Dove Valley during the suspension. He will return on Nov. 18 when the Broncos host the San Diego Chargers.

Williams led the team last season with 114 tackles.
