The guys over at TDdaily.com which is a new football spinoff of SLAM Magazine interviewed Demaryius Thomas recently. In the interview we find out that Thomas actually thought about giving up on the sport due to the multiple injuries he suffered at the beginning of his pro career.

"I was coming back from that Achilles and my first day back at practice I go out and break my pinky. I started doubting myself, like I don’t know if football was for me. I talked with one of my best friends and he just told me to stick through it, you know. “You made it this far,” (he said). I was going to stick to it but I just didn’t know if football was me, because I was getting injured back and forth and back and forth. I had three injuries in two years. Serious injuries. – Demaryius Thomas (TDdaily)"
